Electric Guitar Letain Neopolitan in the works – Computer
This electric guitar is constructed with an African mahogany neck and back.
The top and headstock are highly figured maple and walnut. The fret board is ebony with a mother of pearl signature “Letain” inlay.
The pickups are EMG humbuckers. They are wired in the Les Paul style with the thumb wheel volume controls and pickup selector switch subtly mounted in an ebony pick guard.
The machine heads, bridge and strap buttons are gold hardware.
This archtop has an Engleman Spruce top and African Mahogany back, sides and neck. It has an Ebony fretboard with the signature Letain inlay and Ebony headstock veneer. The machine heads are Shaller minis with ebony buttons. The tailpiece, finger rest, bridge and trussrod cover plate are all made of wenge. It has a floating pick-up with a subtle thumb wheel volume control.
This 17″ hand carved arch top guitar has an engleman spruce top and flame maple back and sides. The 25″ scale fret board
finger rest, headstock veneer and tailpiece are individually crafted in ebony.
This instrument boasts tasteful walnut bindings. This finely tuned engleman spruce top has parallel bracing.
The “Letain” signature fret markers are mother of pearl and exquisitly inlaid into fret board.
This stunning fully acoustic arch top is very light weight and lends itself beautifully to the manouche playing style.
This instrument is ultra light. The yellow cedar back, sides and neck make it very light and acoustically responsive. The sound hole rosette is made of spalted maple. The headstock veneer and binding are both made of walnut. The fretboard and bridge are ebony. This guitar has a surprisingly bright and clear tone.
This Guitar is a hand carved arch top made with an Englman spruce top. The sides and back are figured maple. The inlaid rose on the upper bout is made of ebony and mother of pearl. The signature “Letain” fingerboard markings are inlaid with mother of pearl on the ebony fingerboard. The tail piece and truss rod cover are handmade of ebony. This archtop guitar has a blue laquer finish.
This 34″ scale bass is made of honduras mahogany and has hand carved top & back. The “F’ holes are bound with ebony. The pickups are EMG HZ. The volume and tone controls are subtly concealed on the sides of the ebony & wenge tail piece. The pickup switch is also placed on the tailpiece.
This bass guitar has a hand rubbed oil finish that accentuates the beautiful wood grain. The pickup switch is also placed on the tailpiece.
This guitar has a handcarved sitka spruce top, maple back and sides. The fingerboard, tailpiece and pickgaurd are ebony.
This 7 string arch-top guitar is also made with a sitka spruce handcarved top. The flame maple back and sides are accented with the ebony pick gaurd and tail piece. The subtle inlay is wenge on the ebony fingerboard. A custom requested. Letain Guitars can be seen at Classic Guitars in Victoria BC Canada.
Fir coffee table with through mortise and tenon joinery, has walnut butterfly keys joining the two piece top, which is “floating” on the under carriage.
The second table is a live edge cherry bar style table. Mortise and tenon joinery and has walnut butterfly keys.
The third table is a coffee table made of live edge fir and again used the walnut butterfly keys. The through mortise and tenon is wedged with walnut.
